Ingredients
- Stale bread
- 1 Tbsp olive or vegetable oil*
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Oil a baking tray or use a baking sheet.
Chop your bread into cubes, half-circles, or any other shape you prefer. But not too fine. Make sure they’re at least 1cm (1/2 inch) thick on all sides.
Place on the baking sheet and bake for 10 min.
Store in a jar with a lid.*
*Notes
- Optional is using a baking sheet
- They can keep outside the fridge but will mold in a month or so. If planning to use them later than 1 month, freezing works better (freeze before cooking).
