Wild Rice


  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Bring the water to a boil over high heat in a pot with a tight-fitting lid.

Add salt and stir in rice. Cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 min.

Uncover and fluff with a fork.

Make it a meal

  • Mix with boiled beets, crumbled feta, chopped parsley, some olive oil and a splash of lemon juice.
