  • 1 can chickpeas or an equivalent amount of chickpeas soaked overnight and boiled for 1 hour
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4-1/2 cup tahini paste
  • 2-4 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper to taste


Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste. The amount of flavourings may vary greatly. To make it lighter, add some water from the can or boiling beans. Adding ice cubes will make it smoother but don't overdo it as to not water down the taste.
